Clairvoyance
As a clairvoyant, you have the ability to "see" psychic information coming from this and other realms. This may manifest as either outward or inward sightings of magical phenomena - e.g. seeing auras or energy - or as a tendency to gain psychic information through dreams and visions.
To hone and direct your clairvoyance, become aware of everything that you see, whether in front of you or in your peripheral vision. Learn about visual cues and symbols, as certain common symbols may hold additional meaning for you. Pay attention to what you see in your dreams, and keep a dream journal. If you ask for more information regarding something, see what appears visually immediately afterward. Over time, your clairvoyance will become even more sensitive, and you'll be able to take in additional psychic information.
Clairaudience
As a clairaudient, you have the ability to "hear" psychic information coming from this and other realms. You may hear spirits or guides talking to you in response to a question or otherwise. You may also gain psychic information through music or other sounds - e.g. a song on the radio answering a question you had.
To hone and direct your clairaudience, try activities like automatic writing or speaking, where you can ask questions of your guides and hear the answers come through. Practice tuning into different sounds that you hear, especially when focused during meditation. Listen for signs in music and in the conversations you have or overhear. As you practice these things, your clairaudience will become even stronger, and you'll receive clearer and clearer psychic information.
Clairsentience
As a clairsentient, you have the ability to "feel" psychic information coming from this and other realms. You may feel hot and cold sensations due to psychic energy you're experiencing, or you may have strong feelings in your body (usually your gut or heart) when something isn't right. You may take on others' emotional states easily, feeling their fear, doubt, or worry as though they are your own emotions. You may sweat, get chills, or have other body signals when you're receiving psychic information.
To hone and direct your clairsentience, start paying attention to your body and how it feels when you're in different emotional states. Notice if your mood changes when you enter rooms, and notice the mood of those in the room with you; this will help you determine if you're taking on others' energy. See how you feel internally when something is true versus untrue; practice this in meditation or just with a list of statements that are clearly true or false. Over time, you'll increase your clairsentience, which will allow you to take in additional psychic information.
Claircognizance
As a claircognizant, you just "know" certain things, without understanding how or why. You may have the ability to answer specific questions when you've never consciously learned the answer, or you may know as you're going through a situation exactly how it will play out.
To hone and direct your claircognizance, first and foremost, believe in yourself! It's easy to want to fact-check the information that you're getting, but it's more valuable to trust yourself and then ask for additional information to be revealed to you. Cultivate a sense of curiosity in all things to enable you to take in the most information possible, and follow your inner urges to research something more thoroughly or look into a certain path. As you use these methods, your claircognizance will become even more precise.
