I took a sabbatical from blogging and social media last year.
While I missed each of you and my time online, I also relished detoxing (mostly) from electronics, which for me meant fully living in the present, seeing my family a little more, and savoring each intentional moment.
I had a beautiful baby girl, who I’d dreamed of for years. I watched my son grow. I spent time with my husband. I moved halfway across the country, leaving behind the state I’d lived in for several decades. I bought a home in my new and idyllic area. I simplified my lifestyle in many ways, and I focused on the things that truly mattered, which helped me to reset my energy.
In the process, I evolved my connection with God, with nature, with my intuition, and with my purpose. I deepened an unshakable and pervasive level of gratitude for all that I have and all that I receive on a daily basis. And I expanded my appreciation of each life experience, despite any initial positive or negative connotation.
Coming back, I can’t wait to delve more into my purpose work, while still taking the time to savor each intentional moment and appreciate all of the beauty that life has to offer. I’m looking forward to sharing more with you and connecting more deeply with the kindred spirits I’ve found in this online space.
Have you deepened your gratitude and appreciation for life in the midst of all that we’ve experienced recently?
