As a New Year’s exercise, I reviewed the 2010s in depth. I’m still thinking about some things in more detail, using my experiences and results to determine what I want in the next year – and in the next ten years.
In a nutshell? The 2010s encompassed my most important years to date of healing, transformation, and rebirth.
The amazing and wonderful experiences? I graduated law school, I started my business, I grew in my spirituality and my soul purpose, I met and married my husband, and I became a mom to my first child and my three beautiful dogs.
The tough lessons? I got divorced; I moved on from friendships and partnerships; and I went through powerful, in-the-trenches training with respect to self-love, authenticity, intuition, and boundaries.
You could say that I went through my dark night of the soul – and overcame it – in the first half of the 2010s, and that I truly discovered my path and purpose in the second half of the 2010s.
What did I learn? How to stand up for my values even in the toughest of situations; how to love unconditionally; how to forgive the unforgivable; how to embrace my truth publicly; and how to heal my mind, body, and soul – and help my clients heal theirs – with energy work and focused intention.
What a decade.
I worked with several crystals during this decade-review exercise, and I’ve found that they’re some of my favorite crystals for introspection.
My personal blend of crystals during this time? Scolecite for meditative thought; Halite for cellular and energetic detoxification; Ocean Jasper for gentle emotional release; and Rainbow Fluorite for psychic protection, mental and intuitive clarity, and lesson integration.
