Today is the new moon in Pisces, stimulating an idealistic foray into our most profound ideas and emotions. This new moon is occurring right in the middle of two March full moons, and the energetic intensity is still present – but its path has shifted onto a softer plane as we round out some of the strongest releases that we’ve had in years. Issues that have arisen and caused us to take stock of our relationships, our belief systems, and our higher purposes now settle back down and allow us to see our surroundings with fresh eyes – eyes that are now more experienced, aware, and knowing than they were at the beginning of the year. Much of the roller coaster is past us now.
The current energy makes it more important than ever to focus on new moon intentions. What are you focusing on this month to bring you out of the depths of your release? What new creative ventures, relationships, and desires are you hoping to cultivate during this moon cycle and over the next several months? Some of our most pronounced lessons are drawing to a close, which gives us an opportunity to do the right thing for us in a way that just wasn’t possible before. Our blinders have been removed and our naïveté exposed and disintegrated; we must now act from a place of humble knowledge. In so doing, we should remain cautious and aware, especially during this period of Mercury retrograde, which continues throughout this moon cycle.
When setting your new moon intentions, focus on your highest good and on the highest good of all to ensure the refined development of your goals. Pisces is a water sign, and its slippery edges make it difficult to grip too tightly to anything; be open to the possibility of your intentions coming to fruition in new and creative ways, and try to relinquish control over the process in the meantime.
Suggested crystals and stones: citrine (especially useful for counteracting Mercury retrograde), amethyst, pink fluorite, and cavansite.
